Family Formation Discussion

We’re inviting all families with children, ages 0-17, to join us for a discussion about plans for family faith formation this Sunday, August 16th after the 10am Mass. We’ll give folks enough time to grab coffee and donuts and then we’ll meet upstairs in the conference room on the first floor. We’ll start at 11:30 (give or take depending on how long Mass goes) and we’ll keep it to a tight one hour timeframe.

Our hope is to start a discussion with you about what your hopes are for your family, from practical needs like sacramental preparation to questions of building community with other families, offering each other mutual aid and support, fostering shared countercultural values, deepening a sense of spirituality, and so on.

For anyone who can’t make it, Diane or Johnny are glad to meet with you separately to talk and share what came out of this initial meeting. And we imagine we’ll meet again sometime in September to keep the discussion, and maybe get some planning, going.
