Everyone is Welcome

As followers of Jesus, we strive to welcome ALL people to His table.

We are a diverse community that honors everyone as a Child of God, no matter the ethnicity, race, color, orientation,  or gender identity. Our doors are open, our hearts are wide, and our hands are outstretched.

Our Mission

Our mission at St. Cronan Catholic Church is to be a welcoming, inclusive faith Community whose members are called to worship together and to participate in building the Living Church.  As followers of Jesus Christ, this community recognizes the value of ministering to each other, of fostering our own spiritual growth, of encouraging a commitment to social justice and sharing, in faith, our gifts with the wider neighborhood and world community.

Liturgy

As a community, we celebrate Christ as the Head of our Living Body.   We believe that our services celebrate the communion of all, within and outside the physical church.  Everyone brings something to the table, and we honor all.

What to Expect at Liturgies
  • Expect to be welcomed and included.
  • Expect to participate – sing and pray with us.
  • Expect that your children will be welcomed and included, even when they cry, clap and run.
  • Expect that you can come as you are – We will wear what’s comfortable for us and you do the same.

Social Justice

We believe in the rights of all and the dignity of the human person. With our Social Justice committee, we work with several social justice groups in the community to fight for ending racial injustice, enhance LGBTQ+ inclusion, and address immigration issues.

We work closely with MCU (mcustlouis.org), IFCLA ( stl-ifcla.org ), St. Margaret of Scotland, ( www.stmargaretstl.org/parish/get-involved/ministry/living-justice-committee ), Coalition for Racial Justice, and the Peace and Justice Commission of the Archdiocese of St. Louis ( www.archstl.org/peace-and-justice-commission ) to work towards a society in which all voices are heard and valued.

Outside all of these specific ministries and organizations, many people join local efforts that work toward building an equitable community for all. Are there other groups or organizations you think we should check out? Let us know!”
